About the Hotel
Skyview Chalet Rooms
Each chalet stands on raised wooden stilts with a private deck overlooking the bush. Rooms are air-conditioned and include a comfortable king-size bed, a minibar stocked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and an outdoor shower with hot water. The bathroom features his and hers sinks. Housekeeping cleans the room twice a day and provides a turndown service each evening.
Fresh Buffet Meals
Meals are prepared fresh daily and served in the main lodge. Breakfast offers a buffet of cereals, fruit, and yogurt, plus hot dishes like eggs, bacon, and sausage cooked to order. Lunch is a buffet with a variety of salads, kebabs, wraps, and chicken pies. For dinner, guests choose from three main courses at lunchtime, with a barbecue (braai) twice a week. The kitchen accommodates vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Wine and other drinks are included.
Game Drives and Wellness
Twice-daily game drives are included in your stay. Open Land Rovers leave each morning and late afternoon, led by a driver and tracker. Expect close encounters with lions, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, and more. Sundowner drinks are served at sunset during the evening drive. The lodge also has an outdoor swimming pool, a sun terrace, and a spa with massage and wellness packages. Yoga classes and walking tours are available.
Airport and Park Access
Vuyani River Lodge is located in the Blue Canyon Private Game Reserve, 15 km from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. The lodge provides a free shuttle to and from the airport. Nearby attractions include Kruger National Park and Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Day trips to Kruger, Blyde River Canyon, and local villages can be arranged.
